Have you ever been curious to know how people with similar incomes to you spend their money? Want to know if your expenses are similar to theirs?

Vox.com recently published a series of interactive charts that show you how Americans in different income brackets spend their money. And the conclusion is, we all spend our money on roughly the same things, just the amounts vary.

Housing and transportation are the two biggest expense categories across all income segments until you get to the very bottom, where food becomes larger than transportation to take over the number two spot. The charts allow you to search and sort in your income group to find out exactly what people are spending their money on. Check out all the charts here.
