In a mostly volatile, and occasionally harsh economy, stringent financial planning no longer is befitting of the “ideal” label. Necessity is the name of the game, and if you are not on top of your cash flow (weekly, monthly, or annually), the consequences can be brutal.

Unfortunately, such is the case for many citizens out there whom are uneducated on pragmatic approaches to wealth management and/or are unable to afford the costs of proper financial planning.

This ongoing issue has led to the establishment of free financial coaching resources available in several parts of the country. As detailed in greater length by Yahoo Finance’s Mandi Woodruff, Chicago and New York City have both already set up initiatives to help those in dire need of financial guidance whom otherwise would not have the means to receive such services.
